During the 9th China CIO Annual Meeting on December 13th, Yu Hao, CEO of SpeedyCloud, shared his thoughts in the speech “Our Global Voyage Steered by Chinese Talent”. In retrospect of SpeedyCloud’s 4-year development, he emphasized on independent development with intellectual property, deep insight of business aspect of cloud and user-oriented service as the pushing force of the company’s success.
“The most difficult part of cloud is its architecture, which is also the most susceptible part to problem. It’s in charge of the interfaces, interaction and connection of different components of the system. Since the design phase of our platform, we’ve made our mind to build the whole architecture based our long time experiences, which helped us to enjoy our own intellectual property.” Said Yu Hao. “SpeedyCloud achieved 3 ‘first’: the first Chinese cloud company with its architecture developed by itself; the first Chinese cloud company released SDN product; and the first Chinese cloud company that provides fully compatible AWS APIs.”
With the advanced technologies, product and service capabilities are the requisite competences of cloud company. “Our core team has about 10 years cloud computing industry experiences, which really helped the company avoid numerous pitfalls”, Yu Hao said. “We are looking forward to work with companies expecting high growth, customizing features for them and help them focus on business growth.”
During the speech, Yu Hao revealed SpeedyCloud’s global cloud nodes deployment status and plan. As of today, following China’s One Belt and One Road strategies, SpeedyCloud has opened cloud nodes in Frankfurt, Moscow, Singapore, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, which belong to the B&R related countries. By December 2016, SpeedyCloud has established 9 domestic cloud nodes and over 120 cloud distribution nodes in China Mainland, which covers over 90% cities and area. What’s more, SpeedyCloud has 10 overseas cloud nodes deployed in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Vancouver, Frankfurt, Moscow, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, which makes us the Chinese cloud provider with the biggest global coverage.
“Next, SpeedyCloud will keep expand our overseas cloud nodes coverage, including Africa, South America and Oceania. We have planned to open nodes in Cairo, Cape town, Dubai, Mumbai, Sydney and Rio de Janeiro. SpeedyCloud’s cloud service will provide global coverage other than Antarctic.” Yu Hao, CEO of SpeedyCloud said. “And we are planning to upgrade our global cloud node network, from 1G bandwidth to 10G, which make our user enjoy better experiences.”
